Kotel is an ancient city in Bulgaria which is also known as the "Cradle of the Renaissance" because many of Bulgaria's most famous revolutionaries and educators came from here. The very first Bulgarian textbook was published here. Beautiful landscape, hospitable people and a profound historical and cultural background should have attracted plenty of tourists.
